See the instructions below on how to apply for a job, send in an open application, find an unadvertised job and ace a job interview. These tips will take you one step closer to calling yourself a MORE employee! See our open positions here.
Win us over with your job application
The priority for us is to find a good match for our company. Our excellence is based on our fantastic employees and our way of operating, which draws on our sense of community, trust and continuous development. We believe that what benefits the group benefits the individual. We work toward a common goal, and we succeed together with our customers. We are approachable, which makes everything run more smoothly. Our operations are guided by a desire to develop, and as curious experts, we are continuously learning new things. We also expect these qualities from new MORE employees.
Your job application is our first contact with you and your skills, and through it, we expect to learn about what motivates you, as well as your current skills and work experience, and possibly even your aspirations for the future. We are also interested in knowing why you decided to apply for a job with us.
We would love to see samples of your work in your GitHub profile or learn more about you through your LinkedIn profile. If you are still studying, attach your transcript to your application so that we can see where you are in your studies.
Open application and unadvertised jobs
Tailored software and digital services that are built according to the customer’s needs are at the heart of our business. That’s why we need a wide range of expertise in our projects. We do not necessarily know today what needs will arise from new customer projects in the near future. It’s your job to tell us – so send us an open application! Unadvertised jobs can sometimes be found in unexpected places.
Applicants who are invited to a job interview through an open application most often have a clear vision of what they would like to do in our company and what unique skills they can bring to the table. Not all of our open positions are advertised publicly, however, if a suitable candidate has applied for a job with us previously. That’s why we also continuously interview people based on open applications.
A job interview at Etteplan MORE
Congratulations, you have been invited for a job interview! At this point, you can pat yourself on the back, because you are part of a select few who we would like to meet in person. There’s no need to be nervous about the interview, but if you have some butterflies in your stomach, that’s okay.
It would be a good idea to think about the following questions before your interview:
- Why do you want to work for our company?
- What are your future plans, what are you interested in, what do you want to learn?
- What are your strengths?
If you have some samples of your work, you can show them to us in the interview. In some cases, we might send a coding-related task in advance in order to get a clearer idea of what you know. There are two phases to our interviews, and sometimes a third, if necessary. This helps us ensure that we make a good match. The job interview and its best possible outcome, an employment relationship, is always a two-way street. We are interested in hearing what kind of colleague we would be getting in you. Just as important is for you to size us up in the interview – could you picture yourself working here?
We want to offer you the right job, one that reinforces your skills and is sufficiently challenging and motivating. We must also take your future needs into account in order to ensure that you stay with the company. Good luck in your interview!
