Tampere Events, an event application developed by Etteplan MORE, was used in the IAAF World U20 Championships 2018 for the first time. The application has since been developed further to suit the needs of people visiting mass events in Tampere region. Tampere Events provides the visitors with information about the schedule, arrival to the event and available services. The visitors can also pick their favorite events in the app and get notifications of upcoming events.
Mobile application for events in Tampere
The application has been used widely in major events of Tampere region such as Finland-Sweden Athletics International and different concerts. The application is developed further according to user feedback. Some additional features have already been planned for the future such as information on queues at the gates or traffic situation.

Agile development with React Native
Co-created together with different stakeholders of the city of Tampere, the application has been developed using React Native. The control panel for event organizers utilizes modern web technologies and operates on Azure cloud service.
